We had a wonderful 4-day stay in a generous sized room on the top floor with a small balcony overlooking the harbour to the old colorful Bryggen buildings. The view was absolutely spectacular! The breakfast buffet was exceptional with a huge variety of fresh food — I particularly loved the smoked salmon and fresh bread. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. The location couldn’t be better for exploring Bergen on foot. We’d definitely return!

Perfect location right on the harbor with easy walking distance to everything. The breakfast was outstanding — so many choices and everything was fresh and well-prepared. Our room was comfortable with an incredibly cozy bed (best sleep of our trip!). Only downside was the room was a bit on the smaller side, but honestly with such an amazing view and location, we didn’t mind at all. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere of staying in this historic building added so much character to our Bergen experience.
